it's the scribe here again, recently I had a peek into universae-098 and i saw events unfold before me. Naturally, i documented them so here I am. I have yet to find names for these individuals, or further information about this series of events, i don't even know if this happened recently or in the universae-098 past. I do know this happened on gaia-098, in the seas near invitea.
Pirates go on an epic voyage to find the legendary dragons hoarde island which is home to the highly sought after Hoarde Treasure. Crew is a tabaxi captain who’s been a pirate his whole life, his robotic dragon companion, a werewolf girl who has joined this crew somewhat recently, a strong human woman who mans the helm, a shy soft spoken enby who navigates, and a chubby male chef who is jovial and friendly. First encounter along the journey, they see another ship approaching with an interesting flag, werewolf girl realizes it’s her ex gf, a zombie pirate captain who is angry that they left things off on a bad note, and her crew of skeleton warriors. The ex gf spots the werewolf onboard the main vessel (hero’s vessel is named The Northern Bow) and begins to attack it, while yelling at the werewolf girl. The crew fights with the skeleton warriors and begins throwing them overboard, as they sink easily. The zombie girl captain is locked in an intense battle with the werewolf girl and while everyone is distracted, a small orc girl slips onto the boat. The werewolf girl defeats the ex gf and ties her to the mast of her own ship, then leaves her adrift. The crew continue on but notice that there are things being moved around and it’s odd because nobody remembers doing that. The stowaway orc girl is revealed and explains that she was a princess of a far away island country who was kidnapped by the zombie captain for ransom, and she snuck onboard this ship during the previous encounter. Crew accepts this explanation and tells the orc princess that they’re also pirates but they are on an important voyage so they’ll leave her at the closest island they dock at. She then confesses to the shy navigator that she has heard legends of the dragons horde island and could possibly help them get there. With her help, they set off, encountering other issues along the way, including a run in with a sea monster that looked suspiciously like a mosasaurus , a gate which could only be opened by answering the riddle asked by a sentient seal who controlled that passageway, and a mermaid who turned out to be a sea witch in disguise. Finally they reach the promised island and they see something shocking, dragons all over the island. In their world, dragons have been believed gone for centuries. They dock and one of the dragons shape shifts into a pale human girl with purple hair who explains to the crew that there is indeed a legendary Hoarde Treasure here, but this island is a sanctuary for all the living dragons left in the world, and she would protect the treasure with her life. Before she can explain why, the orc stabs the dragon-girl and kills her, to the shock and horror of the crew. She confesses that she isn’t any princess, rather a member of the ex gf’s crew in disguise. The ex gf’s ship arrives on the island and the hero crew runs to hide , and the orc girl and zombie pirate girl reunite, revealing that they were together and this whole thing was a set up so that they could lure the crew of the Northern Bow to this island, slaughter the remaining dragons, take the treasure , and frame the crew of the Northern Bow for the dragon genocide, vilifying them to the world. The hero crew hears this from where they are hiding and decide to defend the dragons, and the two crews begin a battle. During this, the werewolf girl slips off and tries to find the treasure itself, intending to protect it at the source. Unknown to her, the hero captain sees her leave and thinks she is deserting the hero crew. The orc girl also slips away during the chaos and follows the werewolf girl without her knowledge. The werewolf girl descends into a cavern and comes across the treasure, which is a cave filled with jewels, precious metals, artifacts- and a dragon egg. The dragons were protecting their only descendant. The werewolf girl is horrified by realizing this and goes to alert her own crew but the orc girl stops her and keeps her hostage at the treasure. The captain of the hero crew sends his robotic dragon to find the werewolf girl , and the robotic dragon sends him back a video which proves the plot of the orc and clears the werewolf girl of any suspicion . The captain uses the trail given to him by the robot dragon to lead the hero crew to the cave, and the now injured zombie captain pursues them. The skeleton crew she had is once again defeated and it is now zombie girl and orc girl against the whole crew, but the orc girl doesn’t know that currently. The hero crew arrive to the cave and see the werewolf girl being held hostage by the orc girl. The zombie captain arrives behind the hero crew but isn’t seen by the orc girl. The orc girl boasts to the hero crew about how she is manipulating the zombie captain into helping her with this grand heist, and how she intends to kill her once the skeletons finish off the hero crew. The heartbroken zombie captain uses her last bit of strength to tackle the orc girl and they both fall into a deep ravine beside the opening to the cave. The remaining dragons are tended to by the hero crew, and they are trying to decide what to do now, when the egg suddenly cracks.
